To become a host and publish a listing on the PeerVault platform or to rent a space from a verified host, you’ll need to verify your photo ID! This verification check is in place to keep our community safe and secure. Before using  the PeerVault platform.

How to Get started with ID Verification:

  1. When registering on PeerVault Keep your government issued photo ID ready. You can use a driver’s licence, passport, or state/country identification card.
  2. Make sure you have access to a webcam, like the one on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
  3. Capture your selfie in a well lit environment and click next
  4. Now upload the frontside and backside image of your government issued photo ID and click “Submit”
  5. Your account will be reviewed and approved by the PeerVault team.

 We appreciate reports if a listing breaks the rules, has misleading pictures, or seems inaccurate. This helps both renters find the right space and hosts create accurate listings.

How to report a listing:

  1. Select the listing you want to report.
  2. Scroll down to the “Safety and Support” section.
  3. At the bottom of this section, click “Report this listing”.
  4. Your report will be submitted and reviewed by the PeerVault team.
